From Carrier Frustration To Full Connectivity Clarity

Construction
Cardi Construction

What Wasn't Working

Cardi had managed their wireless needs directly through Bell Mobility for years. That relationship worked — until it didn't. When Bell's dedicated account manager left, Cardi found themselves without a named contact and routed to an impersonal 1-800 line for every request, issue, or change.

For a company running a fleet across multiple municipalities, urgent wireless needs can directly affect job delivery. Waiting on hold for carrier support was not an acceptable operational reality.

Beyond wireless, Cardi was operating on a legacy Bell Total Connect phone system that had grown difficult to administer, and their asset tracking relied on a passive monitoring system — providing location history rather than live visibility on equipment and vehicles in the field.

"Bell's service declined after we lost our account manager. That's what pushed us to find a better solution."

- Ray Rocci , Cardi Construction

Key Pain Points

Carrier support

1-800 queue only — no dedicated account manager

Fleet visibility

Passive tracking only — no live location data

Phone system

Legacy Bell Total Connect — difficult to administer

Vendor model

Fragmented and reactive across multiple providers

The Solution

WHAT NATIONAL WIRELESS DELIVERED

A technology partner, not just another vendor

National Wireless approached Cardi's challenges holistically — stepping in not just to manage a carrier account, but to review, consolidate, and modernize across wireless, fleet, and voice.

1

Bell Mobility Corporate Account Management

National Wireless took over management of Cardi's Bell Mobility corporate agreement, providing a single named contact who could handle urgent wireless needs quickly. What previously required navigating a 1-800 queue now had a direct line — restoring the accountability Cardi had lost and expanding it with proactive plan reviews, cost optimization, and real responsiveness when issues arise.

2

Live Fleet & Asset Tracking via Think Wireless

Through National Wireless's partnership with Think Wireless, Cardi moved from a passive historical tracking system to a modern, real-time fleet monitoring platform. A single dashboard now provides live location visibility across their equipment fleet and vehicles — replacing guesswork with active awareness of where every asset is at any moment. This "single pane of glass" view supports better dispatch decisions, utilization tracking, and accountability across job sites.

3

Cloud-Based VoIP — Cloudview IP Phone System

National Wireless worked with Cardi to evaluate VoIP providers outside the existing carrier ecosystem, ultimately sourcing and deploying the Cloudview IP phone system. Simpler to administer than the legacy platform it replaced, the new system is managed by a local provider — reducing internal workload on Cardi's team while bringing modern communications features the previous solution lacked.

THE RESULTS

WHAT CHANGED

- Less friction. Better visibility. One partner.

Across all three areas of engagement, Cardi Construction moved from reactive problem-solving to proactive, managed technology support. The impact was felt immediately in day-to-day operations — and in the confidence Cardi's leadership expressed when asked about recommending National Wireless to others in their industry.

"Brian and the National Wireless team are phenomenal. They're proactive, they come with ideas, and they handle things so we don't have to. That's exactly what we needed."
- Dedicated Account Management Restored

A single National Wireless contact replaced Bell's impersonal queue — delivering faster response times and a relationship built on knowing Cardi's business.

- Real-Time Fleet Visibility

The upgrade from passive to live tracking gave Cardi's operations team a live view of their entire fleet — improving accountability and dispatch efficiency across sites.

- Modernized Phone Infrastructure

The Cloudview IP system simplified administration and upgraded communications capabilities — with local provider support replacing the complexity of the legacy system.

- One-Stop Technology Partner

From telecom to IT support, National Wireless consolidated Cardi's technology relationships — reducing vendor complexity and creating a single accountable partner.
